Migration
Leave WordPress without losing your URLs.
For teams whose WordPress stack is slow, fragile, or hard to own. We move you to a hand-coded Next.js foundation with redirects, SEO parity, and a clear editing path after launch.
Who it is for
Businesses and organisations on WordPress that need better performance, cleaner ownership of the codebase, and fewer plugin surprises, without throwing away years of content and inbound links.
Also a fit when you are stuck on a site builder and want a proper Next.js platform, which is the path we took for Octopus Hair in Northampton, UK (Weebly to Next.js).
If you need a custom WordPress theme rather than a migration, that is a different engagement. Labor Büsser in St. Gallen, Switzerland is an example of a custom WordPress build we delivered, not a move off WordPress.

Titles, descriptions, canonicals, structured data, and indexation plans reviewed before cutover.
- 05

- 06
Hosting cutover

FAQ
Questions buyers usually ask
Is every WordPress site a good migration candidate?
Most brochure and content sites migrate cleanly. Heavy plugin ecosystems, custom PHP plugins, or complex membership stacks need a discovery pass first so we can say what to rebuild versus replace.
Will our rankings drop during the move?
We plan URL mapping and 301 redirects, preserve key metadata, and check indexation after cutover. Temporary dips can happen with any platform change; the goal is SEO parity, not a surprise URL break.
How long does a migration usually take?
Smaller sites can move in a few weeks. Larger content libraries, multilingual setups, or custom features take longer. Timeline is set after we inventory pages, URLs, and integrations.
Who owns the Next.js codebase?
You own the delivered code. We can continue hosting and care, or hand you a documented repository and deployment path.
Can editors still update content after migration?
Yes. We set up an editing path that fits the site: a headless CMS, structured markdown, or another workflow agreed in discovery. The point of leaving WordPress is not to remove editing; it is to remove the fragile plugin stack.
How is migration priced?
Quoted per project based on page count, URL complexity, integrations, and design scope. Ask for a quote; we do not publish fixed migration package prices on the public site.
Do you only migrate from WordPress?
WordPress is the most common source, but we also move sites from builders such as Weebly when the destination is a hand-coded Next.js stack.
